Who are we?

About Chigwell Residents Association

The CRA was founded in 1985. We seek to represent the interests of residents within the Parish of Chigwell, including Chigwell Village, Chigwell Row and Grange Hill and to protect the integrity of the area.

Extraordinary Annual Meeting of the Parish Council - Tuesday 23 May

This Tuesday, 23 May, at 6pm sharp the Extraordinary Annual Meeting of the Parish Council will take place in the Parish Offices (next to the library and Victory Hall on Hainault Road) at which a new Chairperson and new Vice Chairperson for the Parish Council will be selected (please see the agenda: Agenda - Annual Meeting 23 May 2023 (chigwellparishcouncil.gov.uk).


Chigwell parish council are running a Kids Can Code Day on Tuesday 30th May for children aged 13-16

Kids Can Work Workshop

Date: Tuesday 30th May 23

Time: 10.30am – 2.30pm

Location: Chigwell Parish Office, Hainault Road, Chigwell Essex, IG7 6QZ

The children will be taught how to create a web page using HTML & CSS and will be given a pizza lunch.
By the end of this session the students will have created a webpage about a character in a book or movie. Using coding techniques in HTML & CSS.

Age of Students:               13 – 16

The course is limited to 10 students, selection criteria is on a strictly first completed & returned registration form to the parish office or by email to Councillor Tes Gaffar at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Applications must be completed by Thursday 25th May
Cllr Tes Gaffar will communicate with parents directly to advise if their child have been selected.
